Bohemian Ranch Wedding

It’s unusual that I’m booked only ten days before a wedding. It’s unusual that I don’t meet a bride until her wedding day. It’s unusual that I have a bride from EGYPT (yes, you read that correctly). Sometimes you have unusual circumstances that come together to create a day of magic. (Maybe this is what fate is?)

I met Ashley for the first time on the morning of her wedding. I had been hired last minute to style Ashley and her bridesmaids hair. Planning a wedding from Egypt apparently has it’s challenges! Ashley's wedding style was full boho and carefree, just like her personality. For her hair I used a 1 ½” curling iron, wrapping the hair around the barrel all in the same direction.

She wanted to keep it simple and natural looking so we used minimal finishing spray and very little volume. I curled the front pieces around Ashley’s face starting a little lower, with the bend of the curl beginning right at her cheekbone. (A great way to highlight your cheekbones btw!)

For the bridesmaids hair I incorporated a variety of braids and textures into each style, making sure that each girl had her own unique look that still meshed with the overall feel of the wedding style.
